When a person grows up without the necessary attention from their caregivers, they may struggle to sustain positive relationships later in life. I see clients who are interested in changing their relationships to their loved ones, themselves, and their problems so they may embrace the full potential of their best self. If you are looking for a therapist who is directive, empathetic, and inquisitive, you have found the right match in me. My approach to therapy is grounded in humanitarian values, and I believe in treating the individual clients, couples, and families who enter my room as a person rather than a diagnosis.

In my practice, I utilize integrative therapy techniques, drawing from a variety of evidence-based approaches to best support my clients’ needs. This includes Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which helps individuals and couples identify and address emotional patterns; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which encourages individuals to accept difficult emotions while committing to values-driven action; Internal Family Systems (IFS), which explores and heals different parts of the self; and the Gottman Method, which enhances relationship dynamics through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.

My clinical training has included extensive work with grief, family systems, couples, aging, and relational health across the lifespan, with supervised experience in both medical and outpatient settings. A central element of my work is mindfulness, which focuses on cultivating awareness and acceptance of the present moment. Together, we will practice mindfulness through meditation, somatic experiencing, and breathwork. By blending these approaches, I tailor my work to meet each client’s unique needs, fostering deeper healing and personal growth. If you are interested in beginning or continuing your therapy practice, I would be happy to guide you.
