Angela Lovett, LPC

Hello, my name is Angela Lovett.

I work with individuals, couples, and families with struggles ranging from current life issues, relationship struggles, and issues that have been a lifelong battle. Clients often come to me because they have hit the lowest point and have never felt more alone, even after trying therapy countless times before. Many clients have left counseling finding resolution and a drive to live their life to the fullest. My clients have expressed finding healing, feeling equipped to manage life, and having healthier relationships and connections with others that they previously thought weren’t possible.

My background is in treating clients with trauma, PTSD, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and relationship issues. I have a compassionate, direct, and collaborative approach in therapy. I use attachment based theories combined with other techniques and modalities that are evidenced based and tailored to each client’s needs.

I am trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). I have worked at an eating disorder treatment facility with women and men in residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient settings for over 7 years.
