Hello, my name is Jessie Wells. I have  been a practicing counselor since 2016. I received my Bachelors degree in Clinical Psychology and Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor.

I specialize in suicide prevention, crisis intervention, and treating generalized anxiety and depression. She also has experience treating self-harm, body image issues, relationship issues, anger, self-esteem issues, loneliness, grief/bereavement, divorce, miscarriage and infertility concerns, obsessive compulsive disorder, and attachment disorders.

I have a laid back, compassionate approach allows me to meet clients exactly where they are without judgment and collaboratively take steps toward a healthier and more enjoyable life. I use a combined approach of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Person Centered Therapy techniques to help guide the therapy journey. I believe in transparency and allowing clients to be deeply involved in their own therapy and mental health care decisions, making sure that the approach is a helpful fit for each client.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with her husband and two cats and loves writing, baking, and jogging.
