Personal philosophy: "Seek to understand, empower to grow".

I believe effective therapy must occur in an environment of safety, trust, collaboration and a true connection between the therapist and the client. You deserve to feel understood, respected and supported. My work is to help you minimize the gap between where you are today and where you want to be.

 

Uncertainty and distress are natural feelings. Feeling chronic anxiety and hopelessness are not. Together we can explore what led to these feelings and help you to heal. I typically use a CBT and DBT based approach.

 

I see individuals of all ages but work best with those in their late teens and up. I see individuals of all ages but work best with those in their late teens and up. I enjoy working with those who are struggling with life transitions as well as relationship and communication concerns.

 

Many people come to me struggling with stress from their home life or workplace and find my warm and insight-oriented approach helpful as they work to care for themselves. I've supported therapists for decades and provide therapy for therapists as well.
