Hi there, my name is Keegan Esping. The journey that leads someone to counseling is rarely simple. You may have been pouring yourself into others for so long that your own needs feel distant. Or maybe you’ve been navigating storms for so long that peace has become a distant memory. Have life’s challenges left you in survival mode, unsure of the last time you felt calm or steady? Whatever has guided you to this moment, your choice to pursue healing and deeper understanding is profoundly courageous.
My approach weaves together what I’ve learned about people, trauma, relationships, and inner healing. I use a mix of approaches (principles from IFS, Somatic Experiencing, and attachment work), but what matters most is meeting you where you are. Together, we’ll explore your inner landscape—your emotions, your history, your relationships—and find the pathways that help you feel more connected and at ease. I sit with adults 18 and up, many of whom carry the weight of trauma, in all the forms it can take (complex, physical, spiritual, sexual, and emotional), and those trying to make sense of the lingering impact. I’m especially familiar with supporting caregivers, deep thinkers, artists and creatives, folks living with chronic illness, and people who experience dissociation. I also work closely with individuals who want a caring, nonjudgmental space to talk about sexual challenges or explore their sexuality more fully.
As a counselor, I come alongside you as a fellow traveler. I hope to offer a space where curiosity, empathy, and collaboration guide our work together as we explore the parts of your story that have shaped you. I’m here to walk with you through the shadows of shame and confusion and toward what brings light, holding nuance and hope as you move forward, offering steadiness as you imagine and work toward your future.
