Hi, I’m Samantha Ferrara. Living with anxiety or OCD means constantly battling fear and worry, with intrusive thoughts often taking control. There’s a deep desire to avoid mistakes and failure, or a compulsive need to complete tasks that your mind deems necessary to prevent a feared outcome. It can feel impossible to be comfortable or confident in yourself and your abilities. There's an overwhelming drive for perfection—whether in daily routines, schoolwork, social life, or your job. Peace and self-acceptance often feel out of reach, and the more you try to regain control, the more trapped and anxious you may become. There is hope in breaking this cycle.
I specialize in Anxiety Disorders, Panic Disorder, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) with teens, college aged students, and adults. I also incorporate a trauma-focused lens to process traumatic events and grief.
