Hello! My name is Kate and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience providing counseling and social work services to children, adolescents, and adults in education and non-profit settings.
In addition to working closely with children and their caregivers, I find joy in working with adults facing various life challenges and changes. I strive to provide a warm and authentic approach that is individualized and comfortable to you. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and trauma from a strengths-based and trauma-informed lens. I utilize concepts of CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy in my work. I am also trained in TF-CBT and in the process of being certified.
Empathy and compassion guide my role in helping youth and adults build resilience, process difficult emotions and experiences, develop coping skills, and increase self-awareness. I am passionate about providing a safe space where you can practice being vulnerable and explore what it looks like to achieve meaningful progress. Together we will set some goals, do the hard work we sometimes dread in therapy, and reflect on the growth and healing you’ve been waiting for. I know therapy isn’t always a walk in the park but it can be life-changing and worth the effort.
Please contact me if you’re open to showing up as your true self and working toward your potential. I’ll be with you every step of the way.
